The Switch only comes with 32GB of built-in storage, yeah it’s tiny. Thankfully if you are only buying physical cartridges this space can last quite a while. Sadly the moment you need to start downloading things space runs out fast. give your Switch player the gift of extra storage this year with a new SD card! Sizes range from 64 GB (affiliate link) all the way up to an insanely expensive 1 TB card (affiliate link). The Switch SD card port reads speeds up to U1 so don’t overpay for a faster card if you don’t need to. 128 GB (affiliate link), 256 GB (affiliate link), 512 GB (affiliate link) are all great expansion sizes for the Switch right now and they won’t break the bank!
Controllers $29.99-$79.99
Ahh, there is nothing better than playing games on a fresh controller! The thumbsticks feel so much better and the buttons are nice and responsive. If it has been a while since you had a new controller this is the best time to get one. With the wide variety of controllers available, there is something for everyone from the standard Nintendo Joy-Cons (affiliate link) to the crazy HORI Split Pad Pro (affiliate link). There are also some awesome third-party pro controllers (affiliate link) available that rival Nintendo’s offering!

The Nintendo Switch Online membership is an easy gift to give this holiday season and it gives your Switch players the ability to play online titles. As an added bonus, the Nintendo Switch Online membership comes with a selection of free NES and SNES titles to download and play. As long as you are subscribed this collection of retro games will continue to grow! There are a single-user membership available in 3 month or 12 month codes or if there are multiple people planning to use the service a 12 month family pack is also available for up to 4 users.
Accessories - $19.99-$51.99
There are a ton of fun and essential add-ons you can get for the Switch/Lite including rechargeable battery packs (affiliate link) for charging while on the go. Controller and Joy-Con battery chargers (affiliate link) are also great for keeping those controllers charged for gaming at any moment. Glass screen protectors are also a must to keep your Switch/Lite (affiliate link) screens in pristine condition! Even a wall mount (affiliate link) is available for the Nintendo Switch dock. If you primarily play in handheld mode, there is nothing more essential to own for Switch in my mind than the Satisfye Elite Bundle which comes with the amazing Satisfye Grip and case, available for both Switch (affiliate link) and Switch Lite.
