Heading into 2023 means another year of gaming, whether it be from new games or updates to our favorites. For Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2, they are starting the next year off with Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’s Season Pass 2 as they plan to drop the fourth DLC for the game, Bardock - Alone Against Fate. At the same time, they are upgrading the game to be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on the same day!
The new DLC is based on the Dragon Ball TV Special focusing on Bardock, the father of Goku, in his quest to protect the Saiyans and their planet. Check out the climactic battle between Bardock and the soldiers of the Frieza Force on Planet Vegeta in the DLC gameplay trailer above.
As for the launch on the next-gen platforms, this will be a free upgrade for those who own the game on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, respectively. For those who don’t have it yet, it will be available separately as well.
