The Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King compilation will be released this coming Tuesday, October 29th. This collection gathers together a number of different versions of each game that appeared on the Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, and Gameboy systems in one awesome looking compilation. Today Nighthawk Interactive and Iam8bit have announced their own versions of the collection that might be of interest to die-hard fans.
Nighthawk Interactive’s Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King Retro Edition Box will be a Nintendo Switch special edition that will come in either a Sega Genesis or SNES style box. A retro-themed manual and exclusive poster will also be a part of the packaging! And the packaging does look absolutely slick! Features for the limited edition are as follows.

Over on the Iam8bit side, things are going a bit more retro with a reprint of the Genesis version of Aladdin and SNES version of Lion King! Each reprint will be limited to 4500 copies and come at the typical Iam8bit price of $99 each. Each game will come with a special edition box with restored artwork and a few other goodies.
