Just last month, SEGA and CyberConnect2 announced that they are going to be launching Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles worldwide. Now, for PlayStation’s State of Play, they have shown off some gameplay in the location that all three of our beloved heroes met! So, let’s meet the hero trio as they fight their way through Tsuzumi Mansion.
From what the trailers have shown so far, players will get to take up the sword as Tanjiro Kamado and his comrades, Zenitsu Agatsuma and Hashibira Inosuke, to fight through their demon-filled journey. If you have already watched the first season of the show, then you know what different events and characters are awaiting you. If not, the featured video above gives a glimpse into one of the most iconic locations in the show.
I love these “play through the show” games that are coming out for popular animes and look forward to seeing this continue with more titles! The first to pull this off properly was DragonBall Z: Kakarot, which was also developed by CyberConnect2, so I have high hopes for this one.
Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles is set to release on October 15th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. If you are set on getting this game at launch, you can pre-order it now as well.
