Next-Gen Consoles Are Getting MONSTER TRUCK CHAMPIONSHIP This Month

You know what has been missing lately; particularly on next-generation hardware… Monster Trucks on next-generation consoles!  Sure, you can play Monster Truck Championship by NACON and developed by TEYON on the Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. These consoles saw a release of the game on November 19, 2020, but why bother?  Wouldn’t you rather play the enhanced version for the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S?  As for the enhancements, how’s 4K, 60 frames per second (fps) and although not specified, as in most optimized “next-gen” console games; little to no loading time.

The graphics look spot-on and reminds me of a Monster Jam that I attended a few years back. Monster Trucks are a sight to behold, in person.  I would be content to see Mater up-close and personal in his “Dracula” garb. To gauge the size, take a look at the picture to the right.

Upon this release, you can get accustomed to Monster Trucks on next-generation hardware.  The release date for Monster Truck Championship is on March 11, 2021 in Europe and March 16, 2021 in North America.  The original release was designed for monster truck simulation.  As in most simulations, the player takes control of one of the title vehicles.  In the case of this game, the player controls these titanic vehicles across 25 circuits within the United States.  The player can choose one of sixteen customizable vehicles with five types of events: Race, Time-Trial, Drag Races, Freestyle, and Destruction.  My personal favorite types of events in automotive games are racing and “Burnout” style “Road Rages.”  I’m looking at you “Destruction!”

The game features a “career” mode where the player manages vehicles, sponsors, and technicians that aid in performances and finances.  The player gets the chance to adjust the performance of the vehicle with online play.  Do you have the metal to bend metal on these behemoths?
