Saber Interactive’s World War Z: Aftermath has finally arrived on next-gen consoles now! Along with it comes the highly anticipated update including Horde Mode XL and a brand-new weapon progression system. Check out some of the details for this giant update below.

This new update is available to all World War Z: Aftermath owners for free, allowing the next-gen upgrade as a free download. The PC version will also be able to take advantage of the Horde XL Mode, featuring over 1,000 zombies on screen at once! Players are in for their biggest challenge yet.

Along with the upped zombie count, players will be able to experience a brand new weapon progression system, new skins, and new skills in this huge update. Of course, a new progression system wouldn’t feel right without new weapons, including the sai knives and tri-barrel shotgun. Lastly, Horde Mode Z will be getting mutators to freshen up the wave-based survival mode!

World War Z: Aftermath is available now for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and EGS.
