Blizzard has decided to add an easter egg on the red side of Lijang Tower to honor a fallen Chinese fan. Hongyu, who made several Chinese headlines after tragically passing trying to prevent a theft of his friend. According to Reddit Hongyu's last post to social media was about being excited for the launch of Overwatch and how he was excited to play. Hongyu died the day before the game's launch.
To honor Hongyu his name has been added (in Chinese characters) above one of the astronauts with the phrase "heroes never die" added in there. See the tribute below.
