It seems as though Overwatch clone (or muse depending on who you ask) has not been affected by the peanut gallery declaring it a "rip-off". The Hi-Rez developed F2P shooter has yielded 750,000 downloads in its first week on Steam according to International Business Times. On average the game has had a peak player base just below 40k in its first week of beta period.
Of course, the similarity of the two games has caused a war of words between fans and developers (I wrote extensively about it here) but no legal action has been threatened. I'm just glad I have a free to play version of Overwatch.
