Every summer, no sale captivates the gaming masses quite like that of the Steam summer sale! According to some Chinese sources, the date for this year’s sale is set for June 25 - July 9. Even though Valve themselves haven’t confirmed these dates yet, the sources of this leak have been validated by Steam DB’s Pavel Djundik which leads me to believe they are legit personally.
Djunik has also recently outlined that Valve may be introducing a customer loyalty program into Steam soon as well. This program could include loyalty badges and levels and even possibly game discounts. It will be interesting to see this feature roll out in the future if it ends up coming to fruition.
