Over the last two years, there has been a lot of build-up and information revealed for the upcoming horror game from indie developer LKA. We have finally been given the main thing anticipating gamers want to know though; when the release date is. Publisher Wired Productions put out a new eerie trailer that revealed that Martha Is Dead will be released on PC via Steam and GOG, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on February 24, 2022!
If you missed the opportunity to try out the game with the temporary demo they posted during Steam Next Fest, you missed out on a wild first impression that would show off a bit of what to expect with this title. From the start of the story, I was surprised at how the plot starts out and am still curious as to where they are going to take it from where it left off in the demo. Despite the game having a calm atmosphere outside of the scares, there are plenty of unexpected moments to keep you on your toes.
It won’t be long before we can all dive into this cottage by the lake environment in the midst of the war-clashed 1944 Italy. Not to mention the psychological aspects and the dark legend of the lady in white. Martha Is Dead is sure to send players on an unexpected journey through fear and beautiful surroundings.
