RESIDENT EVIL 3: THE BOARD GAME Absolutely Crushed Its Funding Goal In Under 1 Hour

The Resident Evil 3: The Board Game Kickstarter began with a bang, as the campaign reached its funding goal of over $180,000 in under an hour. The campaign currently sits at just under $400,000 with over 4,500 backers. By reaching this crazy milestone in such a short amount of time, backers also earned themselves the “Disco Jill Valentine” miniature by hitting 2,500 backers in under 48 hours.

The campaign ends on May 13 at 3:00 PM EST, so you still have plenty of time to chip in and earn yourself a Kickstarter exclusive version of Resident Evil 3: The Board Game, and all included stretch goals. If you still aren’t sure that you want to back the game, there is a free demo you can try online at Tabletopia

The demo takes players through one scenario from the game, and can be played solo, or with up to 3 other friends. There is a guide available on the Kickstarter page on how to play the actual board game itself, as well as how to use Tabletopia. It is recommended that you take a look at that guide before attempting to play the demo.

If you are interested in backing Resident Evil 3: The Board Game, you can check it out on Kickstarter. You can also give the online demo a shot at Tabletopia.
