Developers Bonus Level Entertainment and publishers Just For Games have announced their action-adventure game based on the seven deadly sins Saga of Sins. The title is a sidescrolling arcade game with remnants of Castlevania-esque gameplay. The artwork may seem familiar to some as it is inspired by the Dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch.
In Saga of Sins, players will fight as Cleric Cecil who has the power to enter people’s minds by transforming himself into four different demonic creatures such as a werewolf or a gargoyle. Each of the creatures you can play as can be individually upgraded by spending the gold you earn from defeating enemies. You will fight the seven deadly Sins, and free the village of Sinwell from their plagues. But be aware, because everything may not be exactly as it appears, and you may notice the increasing amount of unsettling things happening around you. Has Sinwell been taken by Evil? Has Cecil lost his mind? Prepare for inner conflicts and surprising twists in this “story-arcade” game.
Saga of Sins will be available on March 30th on PC via Steam and Steam Deck, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and Nintendo Switch.
