Spooky Defence Game VOODOLLS Out For PC

Developer Siderift and publisher Tate Multimedia have announced the release of Voodolls, and a defence game with an adorable and spooky aesthetic to die for.

In Voodolls, the payer gets to take control of one of the adorable-looking, if not adorably-named, doll characters. Corruption, Despair, Illusion, and Lunacy were souls trapped in hell until the mysterious Puppet Master offered them an alternative to eternal torment, and distilled their souls into dolls.

These possessed effigies are summoned with one purpose: to protect the Puppet Master from the demonic forces of the Netherworld that are coming for him.

Gameplay is a mixture of tower defence and action gameplay. Players will need to set up obstacles and traps to hamper the demons' attempts to advance, while also being able to grab a weapon and get stuck into combat.

This is all set across spherical worlds, themed after the different seasons.

Players have the chance to play solo, or co-op online with up to three friends, and all the dolls bring different abilities to the table. There are also viewpoint options, with the player able to control the dolls in both first-person and third-person camera modes.

Voodolls is available now for PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Store.
