STATE OF DECAY 2 Reaches More Than 2 Million Players In Two Weeks

In just under two weeks, Undead Labs’ post-apocalyptic zombie survival game State of Decay 2, has reached over 2 million players. The milestone was revealed by Microsoft who shared the news via the Xbox Wire blog. Of course, it is important to remember that in the case of State of Decay 2, the number of players doesn’t directly translate into sales.

Players can play State of Decay 2 in multiple ways, either by directly buying the game or through an Xbox Game Pass membership. The game is also an Xbox Play Anywhere game so purchasing the game digitally will get you both the Xbox One and Windows 10 version of the game.

In other State of Decay 2  news, developer Undead Labs released the game’s first ever patch a few days ago that fixes multiple bugs in gameplay, multiplayer mode, and other issues. The latest patch, called update 1.2 is almost as large as the game itself clocking in at 20GB. The good news is that Undead Labs confirmed that subsequent patches will only be at 5GB or less.

State of Decay 2 was released last May 22 for the Xbox One and Windows 10.
