It was only last month that we saw the announcement for Tandem: A Tale of Shadows and in it we had some details for the story laid out. Yet, developers Monochrome and their publisher Hatinh Interactive are back with a story trailer to express the challenges that lie within their upcoming game. To do this, they show us how Emma and Fenton first met before taking them inside the manor that the game will take place within.
The game follows a headstrong girl named Emma and an adorable teddy bear named Fenton as they attempt to find clues regarding Thomas Kane’s mysterious disappearance. It was on her way to Kane’s manor that Emma witnessed Fenton innocently bounce from a speeding carriage. The girl and the teddy bear chase after the wagon and enter the manor’s grounds. And so, the captivating story of illusory dangers and shifting perspectives begins.
We still don’t have a release date yet, but Tandem is planned to launch on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch sometime in 2021.
