SWORDS OF LEGENDS ONLINE Goes Free-To-Play With Next Update

A rather surprising announcement from publisher Gameforge and developers Wangyuan Shengtang & Aurogon has come through this month. As they announced Swords of Legends Online’s next upcoming update, 2.0: The Firestone Legacy, they have also stated that they are making their game free-to-play and branching out to include Russian and CIS regions! Making their game free and expanding the regions it is accessible in is surely the easiest way to bring more players to their game and now there is more content than ever for players to dive into.

As for the content that The Firestone Legacy will include, players will see two new character classes get introduced — the Fox Mage and the Warriors — alongside new zones, new raids and PvP modes, chapters 11 and 12 of the story, and more. The Fox Mage uses the powers of thorns and blossoms to deal damage to enemies and heal her allies. This class will be available only with the new “girl” body type. As for the Warriors, these heavy-hitting champions of the battlefield thrive in various styles of combat. Condensed into two separate sub-classes, male Crystal Warrior and female Spirit Warrior, each possesses their own distinct masteries.

Excited for the big change coming to Swords of Legends Online, the developers have put together a showcase trailer for the two new classes as well as the announcement trailer above. Seeing a game that is positively reviewed from release offer its gameplay to players everywhere is definitely surprising, but great. If you haven’t tried SOLO out yet, your chance is coming at the end of February! You can find this game on PC via GameForge, Epic Games, and Steam.
