Independent game developer Simogo has entered into a multi-year deal with publisher Annapurna Interactive to bring games to multiple platforms. Simogo’s most recent title Sayonara Wild Hearts has seen massive success since its release last year launching across Nintendo Switch, Apple Arcade, PC, PS4, and most recently Xbox One. It even won some awards like the Apple Arcade Game of the Year and D.I.C.E. Awards Portable Game of The Year! I myself also found the game to be a fantastic journey upon its original Switch launch last year. Thanks to the new partnership, Simogo will now have the backing to come up with more original ideas and unique game experiences for all of us to enjoy.

Congratulations to both Simogo and Annapurna Interactive on their successful deal! The amount of work and creativity a studio can do when they are worried less about the cash flow is quite incredible. I am eagerly waiting to see what comes next for the studio as they continue forward!
