The Game Awards Launches Its First Metaverse Experience

These days, there are various user-generated titles and experiences for users to explore. One of these user-generated platforms is known simply as Core. Core is a premier social entertainment platform featuring live events, interactive programming, and features more than 40,000 games to play and worlds to explore created by a global community of users. And now, The Game Awards is yet another event users can experience through Core this year!

Fans will be able to watch and interact with the awards show live on Thursday, December 9 beginning at 8:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM PT from inside of Axial Tilt, an interactive world that serves as a metaverse hub for programming and events hosted by Geoff Keighley. While watching the show live, users will be able to simultaneously participate in several unique interactive experiences that are only available during the broadcast. This includes a red carpet experience beginning at 7:00 PM ET / 4:00 PM PT the day of the show, and an afterparty immediately following the ceremony featuring a special guest DJ.

Note that while Axial Tilt can be found on other metaverse hubs, The Game Awards will be available exclusively on Core.

Using Core to experience this year’s Game Awards show definitely seems like the best way to do so. From the red carpet to the afterparty, there is going to be a lot for users to explore and interact with. If you are interested in this first-time experience, then head over to Core and grab Axial Tilt now because it is now available for free.
