Viking-based rogue-lite survival game Tribes of Midgard has reached the incredible milestone of 250,000 players within its first week since launched on Steam and PlayStation 4|5! Not only that, but developer Norsfell and Gearbox Publishing also reported that it peaked on Twitch with nearly 100,000 concurrent viewers, making it the 9th most-watched game on the streaming platform.

Following the release of the game on July 27th, players took down more than 40,000 Jötnar in just the first few hours after launch. To commemorate this, Norsfell and Gearbox have partnered with One Tree Planted to plant 40K trees in players’ honor. So, here’s a huge congratulations to those who have taken down Fenrir (the Wolf Saga boss), especially those brave enough to conquer him solo. Special notice to streamer King Gothalion, who took him out in a deathless run!
