Since the previous articles have been a bit lengthy and considering this piece focuses on just one match, I thought of trying something unique. Instead of providing a brief reason for why I think someone would win, I've crafted a story detailing how the fight might unfold. I hope you find it enjoyable, and once again, thank you for sticking with me this far.
Final Fight
In a gruesome and horrifying showdown, the Spirit and Pyramid Head engage in a fight to the death in a nightmarish realm. The setting is a nightmarish forest, reminiscent of the eerie environments from the Dead by Daylight game with the Entity watching closely.
The Spirit, known for her ghostly and elusive abilities, materializes near the edge of the forest, her ethereal form flickering in and out of existence. She wields her bloodied katana, an extension of her murderous intent. Her long, jet-black hair obscures her face, and the haunting wails of her victims echo in the distance.
On the other side of the forest stands Pyramid Head, also known as the Executioner. He's a towering and imposing figure, clad in a rusty, blood-soaked helmet and apron. In his hands, he brandishes his massive and iconic Great Knife, a weapon designed for delivering brutal and gruesome executions. His posture is hulking, and he emits an aura of fear and malevolence.
As the battle begins, the Spirit attempts to leverage her supernatural abilities to her advantage. She phases in and out of reality, making it difficult for Pyramid Head to land a direct hit. She uses her Yamaoka's Haunting ability to vanish and reappear, creating illusions to confuse her adversary. However, Pyramid Head's resilience and relentless determination keep him on the hunt.
Pyramid Head, with slow yet deliberate movements, follows the ethereal trail of the Spirit. He slashes and thrusts his Great Knife with terrifying precision, aiming to end the fight quickly. The Spirit's evasive tactics buy her some time, but she's unable to land a significant blow on the Executioner.
Despite her spectral agility, the Spirit's attacks gradually lose their effectiveness, as Pyramid Head's sheer brute strength and relentless pursuit wear her down. The forest itself seems to twist and contort, mirroring the chaotic and nightmarish nature of the battle. The spirits of previous victims whisper and scream in agony, intensifying the atmosphere of dread.
In a climactic moment, Pyramid Head catches the Spirit off guard, delivering a crushing blow with his Great Knife. The force of the strike sends her sprawling to the ground, and her katana slips from her grasp. The Spirit writhes in pain, her ethereal form flickering wildly as her life force drains away.
With a final, bone-chilling thrust, Pyramid Head impales the Spirit through her heart. Her haunting wails pierce the air one last time before she dissolves into a burst of spectral energy, vanishing from the realm. The forest grows eerily quiet, and the oppressive presence of Pyramid Head lingers as he stands victorious.
In this nightmarish clash, Pyramid Head's sheer strength, determination, and his ominous Great Knife proved to be too much for the elusive Spirit, resulting in a brutal and terrifying battle to the death.
The entity is silenced, pleased with it’s final victor and the souls of the killers lost in the tournament.
