Which DEAD BY DAYLIGHT Killer Would Win In A Tournament Style Fight? Part 2

If you joined us for Part 1, we sincerely appreciate your return! If you haven't had the chance to read Part 1 yet, I recommend going back to it before proceeding with the rest of this article, especially if you wish to avoid any spoilers. However, in case you're here without having read Part 1, let me quickly bring you up to speed. I've been engaged in a lively debate with a friend regarding the ultimate winner in a one-on-one tournament among the Dead By Daylight killers, and I've been documenting our conclusions. In the previous article, I covered the first two rounds, with the first round being quite brief and the second round being quite extensive. Therefore, for this article, I'll focus on the third round, and then reserve the quarter and semi-finals for a separate third part, which I'll edit and include within this article once it's completed. So, without any further delay, let's dive into the next round!

Round 3: 8 Matchups

Bracket A

In the third round, Dredge confronted Skull Merchant in a fierce battle. It is crucial to bear in mind that Dredge gained strength by absorbing Ghostface when defeating him. Although the Skull Merchant possesses the ability to visually track Dredge's whereabouts, I doubt it provides her with sufficient advantage to defeat an entity like Dredge, who is driven by the intention to absorb her and potentially her drones as well.

In an abstract encounter, we witness a clash between Blight and Pyramid Head. Although it may seem challenging for Pyramid Head to strike Blight while he's darting forward, swinging his colossal sword, there is a unique advantage in Pyramid Head's ability to plunge his blade into the ground. This action triggers a powerful surge of energy that could potentially halt Blight's unpredictable movements, preventing him from bouncing around like a pinball. As a result, Pyramid Head would seize this opportunity to ensnare and ultimately conquer his opponent.

Bracket B

Contrary to the Skull Merchant, I believe that Singularity has the upper hand in this matchup due to the additional tracking ability. This is primarily because it has been established that Xenomorphs can be killed, and their greatest advantage lies in their stealthiness. However, Singularity's biopods enable them to track Xenomorphs effectively in any location. As long as the Xenomorph is within range of a biopod, Singularity would have the advantage in this one-on-one encounter. Once Singularity reaches the Xenomorph, either its immense strength or its formidable Claw would overpower the Xenomorph.

In a clash of intellect versus physical strength, we witness the epic duel between Doc and the Huntress. The Huntress possesses exceptional tactical abilities and wields a long-range weapon. On the other hand, Doc possesses a formidable shockwave, capable of disorienting his opponent. However, Doc's lack of swiftness raises doubts about his ability to evade the Huntress' hatchets. But if he did manage to land a shockwave on her, the Huntress would probably expend her hatchet supply on the decoy Docs that she would see from the shockwaves. Nevertheless, considering her tactical prowess and exceptional hatchet skills, it is highly likely that the Huntress would successfully defeat Doc even before needing to replenish her supply of hatchets.

Halftime Report

Up until now, we have seen Dredge and Pyramid Head from bracket A advance to the next round. These two are considered strong contenders for the finals, so their matchup in the next round should be quite intriguing. Moving on to bracket B, we have Singularity and Huntress. Personally, I believe Huntress has only made it this far due to luck in the random matchups, whereas Singularity has truly earned his spot. However, I doubt that Singularity could become a finalist considering the tough competition of these formidable villains. Stay tuned for the upcoming matchups, as we will witness more potential finalists and some victors based on circumstances.

Bracket C

Despite Nemesis's size and strength, brute force alone will not be enough to defeat Pinhead. As I mentioned earlier, the main requirement to challenge Pinhead is the ability to solve the Box. In this regard, I believe Nemesis is one of the least likely contenders. I'm not doubting his intelligence; I understand that Nemesis is capable of using weapons and tracking his targets effectively. However, even with his regenerative powers, he can still be subdued by a sufficient amount of firepower. Additionally, I believe that Nemesis would be too focused on pursuing Pinhead to even consider attempting to solve the Box.

In this matchup, it may seem like a 4-vs-1 situation, similar to Dead By Daylight. However, Ash doesn't have to concern himself with repairing generators like in the game. In a fight to the death, Ash has the advantage of his trusty boomstick. It has been demonstrated that modern firearms can easily penetrate the armor of a medieval knight, rendering the knight and his minions defenseless. Therefore, to everyone's surprise, Ash emerges as the victor once again! I must admit, Ash is performing much better in this tournament than I initially anticipated.

Bracket D

In this rather abstract matchup, we have the Spirit facing off against the Plague. It's quite challenging to predict the outcome as both contenders possess formidable abilities. The Plague has her weakening bile, while the Spirit has the unique ability to phase out and reappear at any location. One interesting strategy that the Spirit could employ is leaving a decoy husk while phasing, tricking the Plague into using her bile in the wrong direction. This would provide the Spirit with an opportunity to sneak up on the Plague and gain the upper hand, leaving the Spirit vctorious.

This matchup between a human, Amanda Young, and a nightmare demon, Freddy Krueger, seems quite unfair. In a straightforward analysis, it is highly unlikely that Amanda would be able to successfully trap Freddy Krueger. Amanda would first need to fall asleep and then somehow manage to bring Freddy out of the dream world, only to then attempt to ensnare him in a trap. The challenge seems overwhelming for Amanda, as it requires a series of complex steps that may be beyond her capabilities.
