Which DEAD BY DAYLIGHT Killer Would Win In A Tournament Style Fight? Part 3

Welcome back to part three of our Dead By Daylight killer tournament series! If you're new here, I recommend checking out parts one and two for some context. But if you're all caught up, you're in for a treat as we dive into rounds 4 and 5, the quarter-finals and the semi-finals. So, without any more delay, let's jump right in!

Round 4

Bracket A

Dredge has been on an unstoppable rampage, defeating all of its opponents up to this point. With each victory, it absorbs some of its opponent's strength, but it's been facing regular humans so far and hasn't absorbed any supernatural power. Even with the increased strength gained from previous rounds, taking on Pyramid Head, the embodiment of physical torment, seems like a daunting task. In this matchup, Pyramid Head would likely prove too formidable for Dredge to handle, and the odds would favor Pyramid Head.

As mentioned in part 2, Huntress has largely relied on the randomness of the tournament to advance. She hasn't encountered any formidable opponents until now. However, her luck seems to have run out as she faces a true powerhouse the Singularity. Even with her tactical skills and tracking abilities, Singularity, being ten times stronger and equipped with biopods, has a significant advantage in tracking. While Huntress has performed admirably in the earlier rounds, I'm inclined to believe that she faces a considerable challenge in a matchup against Singularity, and the odds appear to favor the latter.

Bracket B

This tournament is all about having fun, and to keep things exciting, we've toned down Pinhead's powers to make him beatable. Despite the nerf, Pinhead has managed to advance this far due to his opponents' inability to solve the box before he takes them down. However, considering Ash Williams' extensive experience dealing with cursed items to defeat his enemies, I believe he has the know-how to successfully solve the Box and send Pinhead back to the hellish realm from which he originated. Ash's expertise in battling evil makes him a strong contender for victory in this matchup.

I have to admit, I didn't initially consider Spirit to be such a formidable competitor in this tournament. However, in this matchup against Freddy Kruger, it seems highly unlikely that Freddy could come out on top. Spirit, being a spectral entity, has no need to sleep, rendering Freddy's nightmare abilities essentially useless in this confrontation. In this battle, Spirit would likely emerge victorious with ease.

Halftime Report

And with that, we've reached the conclusion of round 4 and the quarter-finals. We're just past the halfway point in this exciting tournament, and we've got a formidable lineup of killers left in the competition. From bracket A, Pyramid Head and Singularity have secured their spots in the next round, and from bracket B, Ash and the Spirit have emerged victorious. Some of these killers have proven to be more resilient than anticipated, leading to some surprising upsets along the way.

As for personal favorites, I find myself rooting for Ash to clinch the championship, while my friend, with whom I've been discussing all of this, is firmly behind Pyramid Head. It'll be interesting to see how things unfold in the semi-finals. Will we witness more upsets, or will the expected outcomes prevail from this point forward? Let's move on to the semi-finals and find out!

Round 5

Bracket A Winners

To be frank, I'm a bit unsure about how this matchup will play out. Personally, I have doubts about Singularity's chances against Pyramid Head, but I can't help but wonder about Singularity's true strength. In a different scenario, he might have had a shot at reaching the finals, but facing off against Pyramid Head is undoubtedly a challenge. However, it's crystal clear that Pyramid Head is a strong contender for the finals. I have believed that from the very beginning, the competition was likely to come down to Pyramid Head or Pinhead in the final showdown.

Bracket B Winners

Although I'm really rooting for Ash, I believe this is where his winning streak may come to an end. In a manner similar to the Spirit's victory against Plague in the earlier rounds, I think the Spirit's ability to leave a decoy as she phases out would give her an advantage. She might deceive Ash into using up his ammunition, ultimately catching him off guard. Even if Ash were to anticipate this strategy and attempt a close-quarters attack with his chainsaw hand, it's likely that, much like in the Spirit's previous match against Myers, the chainsaw's slashing wouldn't have a significant impact on her. The Spirit's elusiveness and ethereal nature could prove to be too much for Ash to overcome, making her the probable winner of this encounter.

Finalists

Pyramid Head vs The Spirit

Thank you for reading part 3 of this series, I will be posting the final part soon which I will be doing a little different. Up to this point I’ve done short explanations of why I think each killer would win but for the finals I’m going to write a short story of how the fight might go and I hope you enjoy.
