Every now and then a trailer can tug at your heartstrings, which is appropriate for the idea behind Unravel. You play as Yarny as you explore the big world outside to gather the memories of a long lost family. There is no dialogue in the story, which just may leave things even more open for the player to apply their own personal interpretation.
The visuals and music in this trailer, while evoking a certain sentimentality, highlight the aspect of adventure and discovery of unexplored territory. Inspired by Northern Scandinavia, the artistic direction of Coldwood Interactive appears to emphasize the wonder of nature and the mysteries of the vast world we live in.
