There’s a hopping new adventure coming to PC and consoles this summer. British publisher Merge Games and Denmark-based developer Half Past Yellow announced on the third of March that their sandbox puzzle adventure game Trading Time: A Croak Tale had a new name in Time on Frog Island.
In the game, players take the role of a shipwrecked sailor on a mysterious island after a storm destroys his boat. The native frogs are friendly, but there’s just one problem: he doesn’t speak the language. He will have to push past language barriers to fulfill a “spaghetti network of trades” to get the items he needs to fix his boat and return home.
As players make their way around the open world at their own pace, they will discover many friendly frogs and will uncover new trade items by fishing, farming, and solving puzzles. The right item in hand can change the way you travel across the island, and experimentation is key to solving the many puzzles and trade requests in this charming adventure game.
Time on Frog Island launches this summer for Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, as well as, PC via Steam. Physical editions of Time on Frog Island are available through Signature Edition Games.
