I’ve never really thought of gunfights in space before. At least, not since Call of Duty: Ghosts introduced it during its opening mission. We usually see something like that in sci-fi or futuristic games but Skystone Games had a different idea. Boundary is their new shooter that takes the opening scene in Ghosts and runs with it. It’s a more grounded and realistic game than the normal space shooters while still maintaining a fun method of gameplay.
These zero-gravity fights take place in various locations across the stars including some awesome-looking satellites and graveyards. There are several classes to choose from with each having its own set of unique skills that will fit differently depending on your preferred gameplay style. One thing that really grabbed my attention is the customization options available for all of the weapons. They just look so cool and should be an awesome piece of the game to play around with.
Spinning and twisting through the air while gunning down some enemies looks like an absolute trip. As a huge space nerd, I’m really excited about everything I’ve seen so far for this game. It’s a fresh take on the FPS genre and hopefully, it sticks the landing. Boundary will be hitting Steam Early Access soon but it’s to be announced how much it will cost.
