CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE TRILOGY Set For Release Next Week On Last Gen

Looks like Activision is trying to quietly roll out a Call of Duty entry without people noticing. IGN noticed Best Buy had listed a Modern Warfare Trilogy game for Xbox 360 and PS3 going for $30 and releasing next week. The game features all three games in the franchise, as well as the map pack for MW2.

The move has many people wondering why Activision didn't just give the fans what they want and put this on current gen software, but I doubt they want anything to compete with Infinite Warfare, and a game like this definitely would settle a few FPS fans who are less than thrilled about the game's new direction.

We'll see if they make the game backwards compatible, but I wouldn't hold my breath until it's a sure thing Infinite Warfare isn't selling like they hope it will.
