Capcom recently released a trailer for Street Fighter 6. The game once again nails its comic book and cartoony style to deliver a colorful and action-packed game. The game adds an all-new level of character choice and brings in a single-player mode for the sixth installment in a classic franchise.
Players will get to create their own avatar to master the martial arts and dominate Street Fighter 6, both in the story and multiplayer mode. The story mode, called World Tour, will revolve around interacting with eighteen masters and fan favorites like Chun-Li and Ryu. These characters will teach the meaning behind true strength to elevate the abilities of player avatars. Open-world areas are also making an appearance which is a perfect way to increase the players’ connections with their created characters. This content is spread out between three separate game modes, Fighting Ground, World Tour, and Battle Hub.
Fighting Ground is the traditional fighting game style. Battle Hub is a mode that allows players to enter an online hub world and interact with other players. Public matches, classic arcade minigames, and the chance to show off a uniquely created character are the big draws for this mode. World Tour is the most interesting mode of Street Fighter 6 and the one touched on previously. Players will use their created avatars to enter a journey of self-discovery and martial arts. If there ever was an urge for a Rocky story in Street Fighter, then this is the answer.
Street Fighter 6 is scheduled for release on June 2nd for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders are currently available.
