Marvel dropped some additional footage from the reveal of Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite! The trailer looks almost identical to the first gameplay trailer, except midway through Captain America and Morrigan announce their return to the franchise! See their cameo at :49 and continue reading below...
That makes 3 characters on each side revealed for a total of 6 fighters. Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 had 56 fighters, but 3 only had around 38 initially, and then brought the number to around 51 with the Ultimate edition. I'm hoping for 50 at launch, but I'm realistic and think 38 is a decent amount. Who do you think is returning? Who will be new? The game is expected to launch in 2017.
