After a lot of speculation and waiting, Nintendo has finally talked about the successor to the Nintendo Switch at an official capacity, citing that they will talk about the new console before the end of the fiscal year, which ends at March 31st, 2025.
The Nintendo Switch is reaching 7 years of age and Nintendo has talked about the Switch successor behind the scenes with investors but not with the public, but that veil will soon be lifted.
In a tweet put out by the company, they have stated that the Nintendo Switch successor will be announced before March 2025, and there will aslo be a Nintendo Direct in June 2024 to address the titles coming for the Nintendo Switch for the later part of 2024.
It is not yet known whether the release date will be part of the announcement for the console, but it should be part of it, and the internet is now ablaze with excitement to learn more about the successor to what is easily Nintendo’s most successful console to date, second only to the Wii.
