Fans of the original Cat Quest game by The Gentlebros, which is pretty much everyone seeing how it still holds a nigh perfect review score all around, can get excited to hear that the wait for a sequel is nearing an end! PQube released a trailer for Cat Quest II during Gamescom 2019 that reveals the release date and shows off some gameplay.
It looks like we are going to get to continue with a similar RPG-style gameplay as we saw from the first one, but this time with a whole new quest and partner. The once solo adventure includes a canine companion this time around and you can even have a friend join in to play alongside you on this journey. Taking down foes with magic and might has never been more exciting, or cute for that matter.
Get your pouncing stance at the ready, pick a friend to fight alongside you, and prepare for the Cat Quest II release date to come as soon as September 24th on Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
