It’s no secret that The Surge 2 by Deck13 and Focus Home Interactive is going to be full of crazy tech customization’s, huge enemies, and a multitude of combat styles to use. But how much do we really know about the game? Is it enough to pre-order it like they started offering when they announced the launch date? While we have seen some gameplay and been given a glimpse into the story, it’s always nice to know exactly what you are getting when you buy a new game.
During Gamescom 2019, we got to know everything we could possibly want to know about The Surge 2 thanks to their Overview Trailer. This detailed trailer is a four minute long video that covers everything from stats, to customization options, and even a breakdown on how the combat works. Not only is there going to be a style for everyone to use, but there will be fun little side aspects when it comes to the multiplayer. While we are given the typical option of graffiti, I thought the aspect of placing a banner somewhere in the world that gives you a reward if few players find it to be an interesting inclusion.
They seem to be covering all grounds with this games development and then spelling out the details so nothing is left in the dark. Finding secret paths for shortcuts, maximizing your personal stats, customize your own character, use any weapon type you want, and start working on your combat timing skills, because The Surge 2 is hard set on releasing for Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One come September 24th.
