Hollow Knight: Silksong is perhaps one of the most sought after sequels in modern day gaming. Second only to Half-Life 3. WHile the game has had many appearances at various shows, Team Cherry has stayed very quiet with the release date for their product, but according to IGN, it seems that if you are willing to take a trip to Australia later this year, you can play the game at Australia’s national museum of screen culture on September 18th.
While the most recent appearance of Silksong was at the Nintendo Switch 2 direct, we were only told that the game would be coming in 2025 for the Switch, which is also a similar claim made by Microsoft back in 2022. So this is where fool me once, fool me twice could apply.
One could also surmise that the museum appearance could be after a release date is announced for the title, but we have learned better than to expect one at this point.
