Elden Ring Nightreign is easily a unique approach to the game from the developers. Its their first title that has a sole emphasis on multiplayer which is surprising from a studio known for single-player adventures. With Nightreign, players can take on a perilous 3 day journey by themselves or with friends to build up a strong character for a final encounter with a difficult boss on day 3.

The trailer does a great job of explaining the 3 day cycle in the game and also introduces us to the ways you can prepare your night with your Nightfarers - the name for the characters you will play as in the title. Launching with 8 different farers to match your playstyle, each of them come with their own unique style and mechanics to help encourage players and work together to defeating the Nightlord on day 3.

Throughout the 3 day cycle, your main goal is power up your characters enough for the Nightlord by fighting smaller bosses, gathering equipment, and other essential tools you will need for the Nightlord.

The trailer does a great job of tellilng us about the world and what we are getting into. Hopefully the final product will also live up to the hype of the original game as well.

Elden Ring Nightreign launches on May 30th, 2025 for PS5, PC. and Xbox Series X|S.
