There is a lot happening in Season Two of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The next stage in the massively-popular online multiplayer introduces new weapons, maps, modes, and more content to the first-person shooter. Players on all platforms will be able to experience the new season when it starts on February 11th.
To coincide with Season Two, a new Battle Pass will launch with franchise-favorite Ghost returning for duty. And he’s on a mission for Captain Price.
Al-Qatala agents have stolen a Soviet nuclear warhead and smuggled it into the city of Verdansk. Combined with previously obtained chemical gas, Al-Qatala is determined to cut off Verdansk from the rest of the world. On the brink of a global catastrophe, Captain Price sends in Ghost to track down the location of the warhead and lead key Operators before it’s too late.
All of this thumping action will take place on new and classic maps. Rust returns! The small map will be the epicenter of some epic close-quarter combat in Multiplayer and Gunfight modes.
A new Multiplayer map, Atlas Superstore, will also be available on launch, where the aisles will be jam-packed with firefights and warring soldiers.
Ground War will be hectic in Zhokov Boneyward, and Gunfight will be a labyrinth of violence in the Bazaar.
So get excited for all of the maps! And more modes are also featured in Season Two—expect Gunfight Tournaments, Demolition, Infected Ground War, NVG Reinforce, and even playlists designed like the pro league games.
