Following the success of cross-play between Steam and Windows for Dead by Daylight players, the folks over at Behaviour Interactive have allowed consoles to join in on the cross-platform fun as well. Players on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch can all play together starting today! The team did a lot of research and data analyzing over the last year to properly implement this into the game and have it working correctly.
Alongside the cross-platform aspect is the feature to create a cross-friends list. You’ll be able to use this list to add your friends no matter their gaming platform. The developers worked hand in hand with the owners of the platform companies to make this all possible for their dedicated playerbase. The community has been very vocal about the implementation of being able to play with all of their friends so this is sure to impress many of the 25 million players across all platforms.
