Looks like Perfect World Entertainment is pushing Magic Legends developers, Cryptic Studios, to lead into their games open beta with full transparency for players. After a handful of players had a chance to try the game out during the closed alpha, the open beta is going to allow anybody interested in this Magic The Gathering based rogue-lite RPG to try the game out themselves. With the open beta launching both the Epic Games Store and Arc on March 23rd, players have a chance to sign-up to receive bonus rewards for joining the open beta. These exclusive bonus items are based on which platform you choose to play on and all the details can be found on their blog post.
As the day nears that players will have access to this game, they have been releasing trailers to feature the different aspects of the game. At the top of this article, you can find the trailer that shows off the Equipment and Tailor options. At the bottom of this article, you can find the trailer that covers the difficulty and modifier options. Since the difficulty and modifier options are pretty intricate, you can find more details about the specifics in this developer blog post.
Fans of both the trading card game and role-playing games definitely have a title to be excited for with this one. With the open beta being a free-to-participate aspect, I definitely suggest any players interested to check it out. Personally, I’m looking forward to experiencing the game with some co-op action.
