EA Play Is Finally Hitting PS4 This July!

After a rumor revealed that the long running EA subscription service EA access might be heading to PS4 official confirmation has been finally given! That’s right, EA Access will finally be coming to PS4 this July. For those of you out there who are unaware of the service, EA Access is a subscription based service that costs $5 a month or $30 a year to gain access to a digital vault of EA titles users can download and play. EA Access also gives subscribers early access dates to games and free trials of new releases like the upcoming Madden title.

As we continue to invest in digital and subscription services, bringing our games to even more people across both consoles is an exciting opportunity for everyone. Our goal is to give players more choice to try and play our games wherever and however they choose and we’re happy to bring the service to PlayStation 4.
— Matt Bilbey EA executive VP of strategic growth

EA Access for Xbox One has been around since 2014 but the service was passed over on PS4 because it was decided to not be a good service to gamers. Origin Access later followed on PC. With the PS4 release no matter which platform you play on you will finally be able to access the service!
