In case you didn't know, vampire season is upon us! Flying Wild Hog and Focus Home Entertainment bring their creative chops to an all-new third-person vampire-hunting adventure, Evil West. The wild west supernatural action-fueled title has just announced its release date with a brand new gameplay trailer and it's launching this September 20th!

Evil West follows the lead Vampire Hunter, Jesse Rentier, on a bloody quest to rid the United States of the ominous vampire threat. Jesse will bring his monster-hunting skills and a full arsenal of weapons on this wild journey of the vampiric purge. Players will be able to wield various firearms, gadgets, and a lightning-fueled gauntlet.

The trailer shows off some monsters feasting on helpless townspeople and pure chaos abrupting. There are a bit more story details shed throughout the trailer, giving the spotlight to our leading man. Apparently, Jesse is under his father's wing in the monster-hunting business and there is a lot of pressure on him to end the vampire war.

A map is briefly shown in the trailer showing multiple cities in the United States and a focus on Washington D.C. Maybe we will see Jesse travel throughout the U.S. on his vampire hunting quest? Only time will tell, but we will be sure to drip feed you more info as we approach the full launch.

Evil West is launching on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
