Bringing a fresh new challenging pixelated rogue-lite platformer is the French development team Hibernian Workshop. They recently launched their game Astral Ascent onto Steam in Early Access and are letting players get a first sample of what their game will offer. From here, the game will be expanded on with more characters, bosses, and challenges.
In the game’s current build, players can play solo or with a friend in local co-op as two different characters, fight against five different Zodiac bosses (Taurus, Capricorn, Virgo, Leo, and Sagittarius), and explore two worlds. The finished game is planned to have four playable characters, all twelve Zodiac sign bosses, and a bunch of content such as worlds to explore and challenges to beat. Plus, they already announced that they will continue to support the game with DLC following its release.
Astral Ascent is currently available on Steam during Early Access and is planned to be released on console when fully developed.
