Final Fantasy VII Remake has been delayed by a month pushing its original release date of March 3 to April 10. The development team made the announcement earlier this morning on the official Square Enix website along with a message from the game’s producer, Yoshinori Kitase, which you can read below.
Honestly, a month is not a very long time to wait if it means the game will be more polished on release day. Sure they could have stuck to the original date and patched in things later but I am sure there would be plenty of bemoaning on the net about how the game didn’t live up to the hype or some such nonsense. Honestly, the delay is probably going to trigger the same types of bemoaning… oh, internet… Anyways, a one month delay to give us all a better game at release, sure thing! I look forward to seeing the game on its new release day of April.
Though, Square Enix could make this delay a little more easy to swallow for some if they would release that leaked Final Fantasy VII Remake Demo!
