Resident Evil 3 is highly-anticipated after the success of the Resident Evil 2 remake, and now we’ve got a more in-depth look at Nemesis and his relentless pursuit of Jill Valentine.
She may be the central protagonist of the story, but the trailer also reveals the cast of characters in Raccoon City. The cinematic footage gives us a closer look at Carlos Oliveira, the Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service platoon, and Nemesis, the destructive monster terrorizing the characters.

Just as with the Resident Evil 2 remake, though, we can expect the Resident Evil 3 game to be completely rebuilt. It’s being designed for modern consoles, so everything is being fine-tuned. The original game is being created within the RE Engine, which was used on Resident Evil 7 Biohazard, Resident Evil 2 and Devil May Cry 5 to develop high-definition graphics and modernized gameplay mechanics.
Capcom has done a brilliant job reviving the franchise with the excellent Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, and now these superb remakes. Jill Valentine, Nemesis, and Raccoon City are going to be better than ever.
Resident Evil 3 arrives on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 3rd, 2020.
