Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, the upcoming installment in the franchise by Activision, has been pretty silent on the game’s development and only shared a few information on the highly-anticipated shooter. Now, more details are expected to come to light as the official reveal event of the game takes place this month. 

As reported by GameSpot, Activision has started sending out invitations to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Community Reveal Event, which will happen on May 17. As expected, the invites did not share any information as to what the publisher will be revealing on the event, which will begin at around 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. 

As the reveal event approaches, Black Ops 4 has been in the center of several rumors as leaked by “official sources.” These sources are claiming that Black Ops 4 will drop the single-player campaign, which has always been part of the game in previous installments. Furthermore, sources have also said that Black Ops 4 will replace the single-player campaign with a battle royale mode and that a Switch version is also on the way but will only feature battle royale and nothing else. Activision and developer Treyarch did not comment on any of the rumors that are circulating Black Ops 4 saying that they do not comment on rumors and speculation.
