Flighting For The PC Version Of HALO: THE MASTER CHIEF COLLECTION Begins Next Week!

After a few delays the beta testing for the PC version of Halo: The Master Chief Collection is set to begin next week! Flights will start with a smaller number of participants before being ramped up to larger scale testing so don’t be surprised if you don’t make it into the first wave. Flighting will begin with Halo: Reach, the first game in the main series timeline. After Reach releases additional flights will come online for the remainder of the games in the Master Chief Collection as they ready for release. If you are interested in getting access to the Halo Insider program you can sign up here!

We’re starting more modestly because we’ve got quite a few levers to pull and we want to ensure our delivery pipeline runs smoothly, our communications are clear, and that participants can properly provide their feedback on the build.

A preview build of Halo: Reach was available at E3 2019 for participants to play which included support for mouse and keyboard input as well as 4K visuals. Sadly my schedule was packed for the whole show I never made it over to see it in person. With PC flighting opening soon I can’t wait to see the game running at higher fidelity than ever before!
