FragPunk is gearing up for its March 6th launch, and the latest preview trailer just set the stage for an electrifying debut season: Wild Dawn! Developed by Bad Guitar Studio and published by NetEase Games, this fast-paced 5v5 hero shooter isn’t just breaking into the scene—it’s tearing up the playbook with over 150 Shard Cards, chaotic casual modes, new Lancers, maps, and free launch bonuses for early players.
Rule-Bending Combat
If you didn’t play any of the play tests, FragPunk has one huge mechanic that sets it apart from other hero shooters, Shard Cards—powerful match modifiers that let players warp reality mid-fight. With over 150 cards available at launch (including 80+ brand-new ones), every match will be a battleground of strategic twists and unpredictable mayhem.

Dimensional Travel – Shift between two realities where enemies become invisible to each other

If you felt that FragPunk was lacking a little casual fun, Season 1 brings a lineup of casual game modes to mix up the gameplay:

FragPunk launches with 13 Lancers and 7 maps, but Wild Dawn brings fresh additions:
New Lancer – Meet Chum! A stone-bodied robot with a mysterious fish companion that influences his combat style and personality.
New Map – Dongtian, is a floating mountain palace with a stunning oriental aesthetic—perfect for high-flying shootouts.
New Weapons – A brand new Sniper called the Highlife built for aggressive and mobile gameplay. And for those sticky situations where you need to bust out your sidearm, the Burner is a brand new side arm that launches incendiary bombs.

The Future: A Living, Breathing Shooter
FragPunk isn’t slowing down—Creative Director Xin Chang has revealed a seasonal roadmap. We can expect four month seasons, each split into 2 month chapters. Each chapter will bring new lancers, shard cards, and possible new game modes. And on top of that, every season to keep the experience fresh there will be brand new maps!
