Deus Ex is a series that had a good run in the early days of PC gaming and gained a small bit of life on the PS3 and PS4 with Human Revolution and Mankind Divided. Unfortunately the lackluster response of Mankind Divded led to the IP being shelved but it seems there could be a glimmer of hope.
According to a report by Insider-Gaming, Eidos-Montreal could be working on reviving the IP and while it is still in the pitching phase, we can hope that similar to a lot of games coming back from being dormant over decades, Deus Ex is given a second chance at life with modern gaming hardware.
For now all of this is just rumor and we will have to wait and see if the IP will make a return or not, but I know I would be excited to see a brand new entry to the series.
