Frantic Large-Scale Shooter LEAP Launches With Mod Support On Consoles

The new multiplayer shooter LEAP is available now on consoles and launching with user-generated content on day one. Blue Isle Studios partnered with Overwolf to bring solid modding tools to LEAP and allow players to create their own map, mode, and weapons. Skins can even be created with the “LEAP Design Works” in-game tools. The great news is that this cross-platform game will feature user-generated content on all platforms, both PC and consoles. Check out the trailer above for a better look at what to expect.

LEAP launches today on consoles with private server options, diverse maps, and a full roadmap to keep players interested throughout the year. One unique mod available at launch replaces all vehicles on the map with flying dragons. As mentioned, mods are not limited to aesthetics but also gameplay. New modes can be completely built to offer potential unlimited replayability. The sky is the limit.

In LEAP, players select from 4 classes, each offering different strengths and abilities to engage in battle. The game is based on large-scale combat and outfits all players with jetpacks, grappling hooks, and personal vehicles to traverse the huge map. How will you take on the fight?

LEAP is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
