Game development is an iterative and lengthy process so it’s always nice to see efforts to help ease the stress on developers. GameDriver, along with recent surveys conducted by Omdia Research has announced their new product that focuses on allowing developers and studios to increase their efforts when tackling quality assurance.
Quality assurance testing within games is a massive part of making sure the games developed are bug-free and at the most playable state possible upon release. Unfortunately, this requires dedicated and talented QA testers that are willing to put in the hard yards when running through a game and combing it clean of any discrepancies. GamDriver offers a product that helps automate many parts of the QA process and takes some of the stress off the shoulders of the current QA team rather than having to employ a large number of contract testers.
GameDriver delivers key benefits to assist the QA team including providing rapid feedback for each build, increasing test coverage, and reducing dependency on manual testing by up to 85%.
It’s always nice to see some aid offered to studios that need the help and hopefully, products like this will be able to assist some development studios in pushing out their game a little more bug-free.
