GameTyrant's Top 5 Indie Games Of The 2023 Year

While you have giant companies like Blizzard, Riot Games, and Bethesda releasing games all the time, there’s always those indie companies that get outshined. Here at GameTyrant we have a love for those indie companies, and here are our top 5 indie games of 2023. (In no particular order)

1. Dredge - 9/10

Dredge was a game that I was interested in because I heard Lovecraftian horror plus fishing and I was so intrigued. I didn’t expect a game so eerie and chill at the same time. I loved every minute of Dredge and I still play it here and there months after beating it.

2. Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew - 9/10

Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew is another creation in the Shadow Tactics universe this time instead of Samurai you get pirates. Pirates are never a bad idea, this game took me by surprise because I expected to like it but this game took it’s combination of tactics and stealth to a whole new level.

3. Dave The Diver - Not Rated On Our Site

Dave the Diver is a game that tickles all parts of the gaming mind, survival, challenge, collecting, and exploration. Dave the Diver was a relaxing game with some unique gameplay and some stunning visuals that delivered in almost every way.

4. The Last Faith - 9/10

The Last Faith is another one of those “Metroidvania” games, just kidding, it’s more of a Castlevania x Bloodbourne type game that just flows so well. Everything from that artwork to voice acting in this game we have to be happy about.

5. Bramble: The Mountain King - Not Rated On Our Website

Bramble: The Mountain King is a game that took us all by surprise. With some truly stunning visuals and a real creep factor to some of the creatures in the game we were amazed with what this game turned out to be.
