We no longer have to assume there will be a Borderlands 3! Gearbox says that as soon as they get done releasing DLC for Battleborn, Borderlands 3 is their next stop. Eurogamer confirms many members of the Battleborn and Gearbox team will be returning for the franchise's third entry in the series.
Good news is...it's officially confirmed! Bad news...it's not getting started anytime soon. Still some reason to celebrate right?
