Developer and publisher GIANTS Software have announced the addition of a new feature; cross-platform multiplayer is coming to the soon-to-be-released Farming Simulator 22! Crossplay will enable virtual farmers to work together, regardless of their preferred gaming system.
The farm sim has become incredibly popular over the past decade. Since 2008, the game series has found its way onto all major platforms including consoles, mobile phones, tablets, and PCs. Worldwide, The franchise has sold over 25 million copies of various versions of the game. The ability for crossplay is a game-changing new feature for the series.
In addition to the upcoming crossplay feature, players can also enjoy new options to customize their character. There will be new player models, hairstyles, authentic and branded clothing items, and accessories. Clothing options will include outfits from Case IH, CLAAS, Fendt, John Deere, as well as German outfitters ELTEN and Engelbert Strauss.
Farming Simulator 22 is slated to release on November 22nd for PC, Mac, PlayStation4, PlayStation5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Google Stadia.
